My name is Imogen Marinko and pretty much all I do is art and making of all kinds. I draw inspiration from everywhere, from fashion to nature to artists. Many of my painted designs when collaborating with Claire have been inspired by my love of modern art and the constructivists. Through this collaboration I have learned to use my line work and use of shape to enhance the curves of Claire’s skilled pottery pieces.
Amelia
I am Amelia Marinko and I enjoy creativity in all forms from art to music to drama. While collaborating with Claire I have been inspired by Jose de Almada-Negreiros (one of the pivotal figures of the Modernist movement in Portugal) who used continuous fluid lines to create portraits and indicate human figures. Using this idea, I have applied decoration to contemporary forms thrown by Claire to create objet d'art.
