Private One-to-one, or Two person lesson

INTRODUCTORY LESSON

Suitable for Beginners or Advanced Students

This lesson is suitable for all.

The cost is £100 for One-to-One tuition or £60pp for two people.

Wednesday, Thursday or Friday ~ 10.30-1pm or 2-4.30pm

The two and a half hour introductory lesson includes a full demonstration of the process of throwing clay on the potters wheel, and also the turning and application of banded slip.

There is then time for you to make at least 2 pots of your own.

Your pots are expertly trimmed, coloured in exactly your own mix of coloured slip.

They are then glazed and fired, ready for collection 4 weeks after your lesson.

She has a history of commitment toward her students, both past and present.

Whilst dedicated to producing her own ceramic designs, and involvement in community workshops, she is also devoted to bringing the best out in her students, whether complete beginners, or more advanced.

Offering classes to adults, teens and children in both group settings and private lessons, there’s something for anyone looking to foster their inner creativity.

"I strive to instil creativity and teach form and function to all artists and guests that come to the Portable Pottery Studio seeking a fun, relaxing, and well rounded artistic experience"

The future I foresee, involves us living in the present, remembering our past, and embracing the use of our hands to create, and reconnect with Mother Earth.

Clay is a completely sustainable base material; it is also continually recycled, so no waste! It's a natural gift for us all to enjoy. It's all about reconnecting back to the natural elements, to enjoy the Mud Fun and hands on human experience"
